Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Mizaanly ("the Service"), operated by Mizaanly. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Mizaanly Provides
Mizaanly is an Islamic inheritance (Faraid) calculation platform that produces a professional Solicitor Instruction Letter in PDF format. The letter is structured for use by UK solicitors drafting a Sharia-compliant will, and includes suggested Gift of Residue clause wording, heir-by-heir shares with Quranic basis, and formal drafting notes. It does not constitute legal advice and is not itself a legally binding will.
Calculations are based on classical Faraid rules across the Hanafi, Shafi‘i, Maliki, and Hanbali madhabs, built and reviewed by qualified scholars. A qualified solicitor must execute a valid will under the Wills Act 1837 before the distribution has legal effect.
2. Account Registration
You must create an account to save calculations and purchase documents. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
3. Payment and Document Access
The calculation tool is free to use. A one-time payment of £29 is required to download the Solicitor Instruction Letter PDF for a specific case.
Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Each purchase unlocks the PDF for the exact calculation at the time of payment (identified by a logic fingerprint). If you materially change your inputs (heirs, estate value, madhab, or deceased's gender) after paying, a new purchase is required.
You may re-download your paid document at any time provided your case inputs remain unchanged.
4. Refunds
Please see our Refund Policy for details. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase provided you have not downloaded the PDF document.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Attempt to circumvent the payment system
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the calculation logic for commercial use
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Mizaanly does not warrant that calculations are free from error or that documents will be accepted by any solicitor, court, or authority. Always seek independent legal advice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mizaanly's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant transaction.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
